After years of focusing on crisis management and pandemic-related challenges, hospital and health system leaders are refocusing on strategy. However, pre-pandemic strategic plans may now be outdated, requiring fresh ideas and partnerships to address today’s changed landscape.

To gather input from senior health care leaders, the AHA’s Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) held an executive dialogue on innovative strategies and partnerships at its 2024 annual conference in Denver, sponsored by Kaufman Hall.

Our focus in creating the layout for this report was on making sure the information flowed well, was well-organized and labeled, and that the design and imagery felt positive and forward-thinking.
