Serving approximately 4,000 members, the Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association, powers the strategy professions of health care, including but not limited to marketing, digital engagement, communications, strategic planning, and business development.

As the largest membership association in its sector, SHSMD helps its members stay at the forefront of health care’s rapidly evolving landscape while expanding its members’ knowledge and network to create value for the organizations and communities they serve.

SHSMD’s Executive Dialog reports are an integral part of the organization’s efforts. These reports are released each year following the annual conference, at which marketing, strategy, and communications experts gather to discuss important and emerging topics in healthcare. Each report is a summary of an expert discussion on a particular subject, and provides members with crucial information and insight.

Each year, we head up the layout of these reports, careful to distinguish between moderator questions, panel answers, summaries and more — our goal here is to deliver the information as clearly as possible, while adhering to the SHSMD brand standards and creating a color and visual language that unites the separate reports, with each report also visually distinct from the rest.
