On May 1-4 2023, a community of nearly 3,000 nurse leaders connected from across the globe for four days of inspiration and education at the AONL 2023 Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif, home of Disneyland. The AONL Annual Conference advances the professional development of nurse leaders through innovative and competency-based learning experiences and the topics include health care finance, certification review courses, shared governance, and emerging leader competencies.

For the design of the materials for the American Organization for Nursing Leadership’s (AONL) annual conference this year, we carried bright, explosive (fireworks!) artwork and branding throughout the pieces, creating a visual journey through the conference information and schedules. We designed the individual pieces, as well as the pages within, to work visually as a cohesive whole while bringing small moments of delight via shifts in color, illustrations, and bright photographs.
