We’re always excited to start a new year designing the annual conference branding and collateral for SHSMD Connections, the premier conference for healthcare marketing, public relations and communications, and strategic planning professional, hosted by the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. This year’s identity was focused on maintaining a bright, clean, minimalist look, while also celebrating the mountains and iconic buildings of Seattle, the 2018 meeting destination. We wanted to highlight the bright green lushness of the foliage and moody greys of the rainy days, and contrast those with the warm bright neon lights of Pike Place Market.

We created all conference pieces around these ideas, and in each piece we further sketched out our vision with expansive Seattle photos and bright colorful callout type alongside soft cloudy greys and darker, more moody seawater-grays, all against a clean white background, overlayed with the information in a structured framework.
